Benin, completed solidarity project

Matias Salvá, S.L., we believe in the power of collaboration to create a positive impact in communities that need it. Some time ago, we started a partnership with thePremi Vicent Berenguer in Education, an initiative that pays tribute to the legacy of the missionary Vicent Berenguer, who has dedicated his life to education in Mozambique and other needy regions. Today, we are pleased to share the fruits of this collaboration: the winning projects and, especially, the completed project in Benin.

ThePremi Vicent Berenguer in Educationhas recognized various initiatives that promote education and development in vulnerable communities. Among the awarded projects are:

• Benin:Construction of a three-classroom module at the "Saint JeanMarie-Thérèse" school in Kansounkpa (Benin). Its head is Father Hervé Chanhoun, from the diocese of Cotonou in Benin and currently a student at the Sant Vicent Ferrer Faculty in Valencia.
• Cameroon:Construction of a single-story building for school use with permanent materials in the locality of Batcham Fiela, urban commune of the Batcham Ville district, Cameroon. The project is driven by the Community of the Sisters of Batcham Fiela, on a plot of approximately 800 m².

These projects exemplify the spirit of solidarity and the commitment to education that has inspired Vicent Berenguer.

Today we are pleased to see the Benin project completed. The images below show the result of this joint effort, reflecting the tangible impact that collaboration and solidarity can achieve.
